I finally finished the research for Digby's first log.  Digby has kept me jumping this year and so some of the background research has fallen thro the cracks.  But I am proud to announce that Digby’s very first log A Year of Celebrations: January has been updated to include specific advice for using the presented holidays in your game as well as a collection of plot hooks for each celebration as well.

7/24/10 – Its time to update our files again. We have been poring through our archives here at Healing Fireball and have updated and expanded two of our Just Add Dice products. Just Add Dice: 50 Modern Ship Cargos has been updated to include the value system that all the other cargo generators have, including 6 new tables to alter an item’s value. Just Add Dice: Random Cave Designer has also been updated and now includes several new tables to expand the Gem/Metal deposit generation system and the cave entrance system has been split into two tables including a natural entrance and a man-made entrance table.

7/23/10 – This heat wave makes me long for somewhere farther up north where the cold air blows. In every world there is a pole, a place where the cold wind blows all year long and ancient misters lay buried in the ice. Unfortunately, these places often feel barren and empty, only filled with hazards and monsters the party must defeat or overcome. Never fear -- our latest product Two Bit Tables: Tundra and Arctic Animal Encounters is dedicated to adding the life back to these places. 10/9/08 – I have found the secret lair of the crimson sorcerer. Truly over-the-top villains need a truly unique lair. But what good is a cool lair without an equally unique name? 10/6/08 – Its time I overhauled those tables. Changes to the way I think about and design the Two Bit Tables line has forced me to do a major overhaul of the line. Originally a line dedicated to products that could not be fleshed out into Just Add Dice ideas, the line has evolved into one of our big stars and I find myself designing products just for it. This fact has prompted me to reevaluate many of our older products in the light of current expectations and reviews. This evaluation has produced updated versions of most of the current Two Bit Tables. These updates fill some of the holes, brings some products up to the standards for the line and makes them more printer-friendly. So check out this line today and see all the changes.

9/5/08 – I need to polish my Healing Fireball signet ring. Treasure hoards feeling a little stale? Want some new stuff to reward your party with? 9/3/08 – Well we finally got around to rearranging those shelves in the shop. The shop store front has also been rearranged this week as the contents of the shop have been arranged by categories. We hope this and the new quick cross-references added to the different items pages help to make the store easier to navigate.

8/31/08 – We’ve finally organized those filing cabinets. In an effort to better keep track of things around here, because we all now things left alone hear tend to walk around on their own, we have finally organized our filing cabinets and dug ourselves out from the mounds of paper. We hope our new filed and organized products page makes it easier for both us and you to navigate our offices and the new blog button on the front page is just nifty.

8/29/08 – I think its time to grab a nice cold drink. Finally, it arrives - the long-awaited, often-mentioned Just Add Dice: Tavern Alcohol, Wine and Drink List Generator is finally done. 8/22/08 – You’ll have to excuse me I’ve been a bit under the weather since I fought those rats last week. This week we have yet another in ourCombat Cards line of products. This week we tackle the often confusing and infuriating disease rules. In similar fashion to last weeks Combat Cards: Poisons, Combat Cards: Diseases contains all you ever wanted to know about the dangers of diseases as well as quick references for all the diseases in the SRD and many other goods.

8/15/08 – I see your eying my blow gun. I assure you the darts are quite poisonous. This week we have yet another in our Combat Cards line of products. This time we provide a little help for our assassin friends (you know who you are) with Combat Cards: Poisons. This set contains all you ever wanted to know about the use and dangers of poisons as well as quick references for all the poisons in the SRD and many other goods.

8/8/08 – Why do all the healing potions around hear have a sulfurous smell? All of your potions have that same old same old feel. As two guys who love to play casters, we know how confusing and sometimes seemingly contradictory the rules surrounding them can be. So to help we have created this card set detailing some of the finer points and unique abilities that casters possess. From turning, to counter spelling, to the finer points of touch spells, they’re all here - all the unique combat tactics of the caster.

6/19/08 – A man’s best friend is his dog and a druid’s best friend is his wolf. Following last week's release of Gamer Essentials: Basic Familiar or Companions Miniatures we have another miniature product to add to the Gamer Essentials line. 6/13/08 – You should have been paying attention to my pet. Mr. Boots, sic ‘em. 5/16/08 – It’s time for a long walk in the forest. This week we are premiering a new line with two forest-related products. Our Two Bit Tables are random roll tables that I have created to enhance my game. However useful these products were, they were not large enough to expand into a full Just Add Dice product. So instead I have polished them up and released them for the low price of just 50¢. This week to kick off the line we are releasing Two Bit Tables: Trees for All Your Needs a set of five tables designed to answer all your tree questions and Two Bit Tables: Mundane Forest Animal Encounters - a large table that allows you to generate 100 mundane forest creature encounters.

3/21/08 – I Use A Swift Action To Cast My Quickened Healing Fireball!We’re back again this week with another new line of products - the Combat Cards. These cards are designed to be a quick and easy reference to some of the more confusing rules of D20. To christen this new line of products we are proud to release the first set of cards: the Combat Cards: Action Types. In this set, you will find cards that feature the different action types you can take in a combat round and a description of the actions that fall into each type. From Move actions to Free actions to Full actions - they’re all here. Never have to flip through a book again to determine whether a charge is a full action or a standard action – the answers are at your fingertips.

03/15/08 – We have just what you need to stay warm. This week, we here at Healing Fireball Publications have our most ambitious project to date -Curious Items: Braziers. This book expands on a single type of underutilized item presenting a myriad of information on that item, from its mundane uses, to alchemically enhanced versions, to a collection of magic items that use the item as its base. As a bonus, each of these books also provides a fully designed set piece where the items can be found or purchased. So gather around the pan and stave off the chill.

We have a new blog. As the next phase in the design of the Healing Fireball Publishing web page we have added a blog to the site. 03/07/08 – Huzzah! Grab your sward, strap on your armor and prepare for another one of our classic guides. Last time it was the Cabin Boy's Pocket Pirate Handbook; this week we are proud to release our second classic guide A Squire’s Guide to All Things Knightly. Like the Cabin Boy’s Handbook, The Squire’s Guidewas originally created for sale at the New Jersey Renaissance Kingdom gift shop. We are proud to be able to offer the Squire’s Guide in an enhanced and expanded version with loads of information on noble titles, the knightly honor code, the laws of courtly love and a positively huge 68-page role playing appendix.

2/29/08 – It’s time for a pub crawl!  This week Healing Fireball is proud to unveil the new Just Add Dice Series of books with its flagship title The Tavern Generator. Just Add Dice books will feature random roll tables centered around a central theme. In the first book in this line, the theme is pubs, inns and taverns and inside you will find everything you need to create a truly unique tavern.

02/22/08 – The cabin boys pocket pirates handbook is now available.  Big news!  The Cabin Boy's Pocket Pirate Handbook, one of our first products, is now available in a revised and expanded version.  This new version has had most of its main chapters expanded and a roleplaying appendix has been added to provide some useful character and campaign suggestions as well as some universal reference sheets.

02/15/08 – Do-it-Yourself Life Counters: The Zodiac Collection now

available. We have offered a bundle of all of the Zodiac-themed Do-it-Yourself Life Counters at a discount price. 

02/09/08 – Random Generation Card System: The Treasure Cards now available. We have released the third and most ambitious set in the Random Generation Card System. This set is designed to allow a game master to randomly draw appropriate treasure for any level encounter. This is our largest card set to date a whopping 85 pages of cards. 

02/02/08 – Random Generation Card System: The Search Cards now available. The second card set in the Random Generation Card System is now available for purchase in our catalog. This set is designed to allow a game master to quickly determine the loot found when the party searches an area. This set is larger than the previous released weather cards and strives to answer the simple question, “So what’s in the room?”

01/29/08 – Random Generation Card System: The Weather Cards now available. The first in a new line, the Random Generation Card System, has been released. This system is designed to allow a game master to quickly randomly generate an answer to common gaming questions by drawing a random card. Each set will be dedicated to answering a single question and to start off this new line we hope to answer the question, “So what’s the weather like outside?” 

Game Aides: Graph Paper Packs now available. Never have graph paper around when you need it?  These packs give you simple print and use graph paper available in three distinct styles: Black grid, Blue grid and Hex grid.  The packs contain a wide variety designs suitable for making player hand outs.

01/27/08 – Do-it-Yourself Life Counters now available. Our collection of simple Print-Glue-Use Do-it-Yourself Life Counters is now available for purchase. These simple life counters come in a variety of styles and designs, from classic medieval art to all the signs of the zodiac. 

01/24/08 – We Live! Our store on RPGNow has opened and the first of our Do-it-Yourself Life Counters, the Joust, went up today. Also, our webpage went live for the first time today and we began designing our product page. 

05/20/07 – Healing Fireball Publications in print is born. We created the imprint originally to mark two books made for sale at the New Jersey Renaissance Kingdom gift shop. The imprint allows us to sell a Cabin Boy's Handbook and a Squires Guide to Knighthood at their shop using their logo but maintaining a separate identity for the products.
